hola hola
this week was absolutely amazing
lunes we played futbol with all the hermanas, it was fun because we are so good....jajaja not. but the elders were playing in a different field and looked like they got the hang of it. then we met with maria in the night and then with some less actives.
martes we visited with josilin and we found out elizabeth is gonna be out of town for 2 weeks. sad day but we called her and she said shed call when she gets back, she loves us.
miercoles WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE! it was greatly needed.. i hadnt been since april so i was in heaven when we got to go to xela as a zone. going every six months makes you so grateful because it seems like such a long time. also i miss being able to see the temple everyday from my area. now im 3 hours away in a smelly crowded bus. so grateful we get to go to the temple! loved it then after we had a zone meeting and packed lunch with president. he scares me im not gonna lie. he is just a lot more serious than pres bautista was but maybe its because he is new?
jueves we had a great lesson with maribela and all her family. its like 4 or 5 women and a brother and a bunch of children. when we get to sit in the midst of them i just am reminded how extremely lucky i am to be a missionary. not anyone has the opportunity to go inside someones house and have their trust instantly because your a servant of God. having them all listen intently and asking questions it was just a beautiful day because of it. i love this place and these people. then we also met with maria and her kids again, they made us dinner at the end of our lesson. tortillas with an egg and fry sauce in between. it was actually really goood and also she makes natural shampoo so we are going to buy some from her when she makes it again this week! super excited.
viernes we found some great new investigators walking in the street. they actually lived in the states for a while but still know no english. consuelo and rolando. we are excited to start working with them. then we met with the family fernando that speaks english, they are a little dififult but poco a poco. the husband is building a church so they are super evangelicos. then we met with eleina, she is doing great, we brought aura with us and man shed be baptized right now if it wasnt for her stinkin boss wont let her leave for one hour to come to church. but patience! haha
sabado y domingo we had GENERAL CONFERENCE. we got to watch all of sunday in english on a laptop in the church. so much better. i loved all the talks and im so grateful for conference even more than i ever was before the mission. missions help us see the importance of things like that that maybe we wouldnt have ever learned otherwise, or at least for me. i love it
bueno espero que todos de ustedes tengan una buena semana y hasta la proxima vez. les quiero mucho
