hola hola!!!
lunes we had a family home evening with some members familia lucas my favorites! they are both rms so they are pilas! they made us hamburgers and we brought a chocolate cake so it was all in all a good day!
tuesday were transfers but thankfully i didnt have them! haha i dont think i would be able to handle much more change for a while. we had some great lessons and we were trying to find some references and ended up getting caught in the POURING rain and i swear whenever we dont have our rain gear it rains and when we do it is super hot all day long. but it was a miracle in disquise because we ended up having to run to a members house and shared a scripture with them. it ended up being something the really needed in their lives because their recently returned missionary son is inactive already and they both served missions so its really hard on them. it was a really cool experience. then we had english class and we walked there with towels they loaned us because they didnt have umbrellas.. fun day
wednesday we had district meeting and we have a ton of new people in the zone and its pretty crazy! hermana Erikson is back in my zone! its fun seeing someone that was there for me and really helped me in the begining of the misión! we had a great lesson with maria and tomas and their family. they have been Reading the book of mormon and the bible together to see the similarities and its a really coool experience. they really love us and they are super sweet. they teach us words in one of the 25 dialects here in Guatemala. i cant remember the name of it.
thursday we went to xela for my companions 6 week meeting! i got to see hermana Gibson and other people that were in my old zone and man that bus ride there and back was like 6 hours total. and the ride back was interesting. i think everyone should have that experience in their life. 5 different people came on with different deformities at different stops to ask for money with elegant speeches. and then during the ride a preacher got on and started preaching for half an hour or longer. no me gusto. then he collected money walking down the aisle before he finally sat down.
friday we had a great lesson with maria and her daughters because tomas wasnt home. one of the girls eulalia braided my hair like a princess. sorry no pics....also we went with heohilma and she presented us to her 22 year old son.... it was pretty awkward and he made it clear to us that he was single by randomly stating it. funnnnnyyyy....
saturday we just had some lessons and walked around our área contacting more people from the zone contacting activity but they werent really that positive. these evangelicas will be the death of me one day. they are tougher than the really catholic people! if you can imagine.
sunday we got a call from denny saying he wanted to come to church with us and would we pass by for him. of course we will. he is so great and he goes to all the activities and he even went and indexed with some other members before mutual on friday. we also had a great lesson with edgar and lucia. lucia has been a memeber her whole life but wants her husband to be too.... he comes to church every sunday and we finally got to have a lesson with him about the plan of salvation and eternal families. lucia started crying and i think he could see how important it is to her to be an eternal family with their son and baby on the way.
well that was my week or what i can remember of it! it was a long but good week! today we met the zone at the church and played volleyball for a while all went to lunch together! it is a good zone up here and im loving it!
love you all and have a great week!
