hola hola
well thats right im in san juan. like 30 min from xela in a rama of 59 people that assisted this sunday. its more than in malacas though!
my new companion is hermana guillen (gi jen) from honduras. she came with hermana aguilar to the mission and they were even comps in the ccm. she has almost 4 months and she is great! we get along super well
here we share an area with the zone leaders in zona la esperanza. its pretty great because they are soooo funny. here we dont have the area divided so we get to go to the aldeas and visit people too. the other day we went to an aldea called victoria and it was super fun. luckily we got to ride in a bus for the 30 min. this area is huge. almost everyone here speaks mam. its apparently no longer just a dilalect but a language! so thats cool. im actually learning a few words and i love that here most of the people (women) like 95 percent wear corte. and speak mam but it sounds like german or something because they talk with their throats and after practicing it your throat hurts.
its also soooo cold here and i got pulgas(fleas) the first couple days because i was caught off guard since ive been living the life not having to worry about them!
but i went crazy with bug spray and now im more careful and ive been good the past couple days. but man the bites are so irritating!
we have some great investigators and we are always looking for more. we had a family estella and otonelio come to church with their son and we are working with flor who wants to get baptized is already reading the book or mormon and wants to serve a mission in china jaja. and soila a viejita that adores us and hopefully she comes to church this sunday. she gifted us napkins of guatemala and made me a knitted ear warmer. welcome to san juan! im lovin it here
thank you for all the support and have a great and safe week!
